Security
Your baby's safety is our primary concern, both before and after he or she is born. Our security policy is designed to make sure your family is comfortable and safe during your entire hospital stay.

The birth unit is locked and access is restricted to staff and to authorized visitors who must check in and out of the unit using a telephone system. Each visitor must also give his or her full name when checking in.

In addition, each infant wears a band that will cause an alarm to sound if he or she goes beyond the unit's locked doors.

To help you easily recognize our staff members, each member of the obstetrics unit staff has the letters "OB" in red on their name badge.

However, new parents are the most important part of a baby's security. To help make sure your baby is safe we recommend that you:
